Du Sicong

Born in Harbin, Du stared his cello lesson at a very young age.  His interest in metal music began when at the age of 12 he heard this genre being played in his father’s car.  This cued his interest in drums.  His journey with drumming began.

During his high school years along with some Russian musicians he formed a metal band, Sacromorted.    They recorded their first EP which laid the foundation of his high-speed bass drum technique and is known as a metal-centered drummer on the stage.

After moving to Beijing, he studied with Japanese educator Izumi Koga.  He gradually established his own style on drumming and continues performing and recording as a professional musician. In August, 2014 Du Sicong joined the extreme metal band Black Kirin.  His signature style is featured and showcased on the album Jinlingji.
