Ian McKay

Born and raised in London, Ontario, Ian MacKay became interested in drumming at a very young age. His father, Sandy MacKay, is an award winning professional drummer from London, ON.

Studies:
In 2009, Ian received a BA in Popular Music Studies from Western University in London, ON. During his time at Western, Ian studied classical percussion with Dr. Jill Ball, performing in the percussion ensemble, wind ensemble and jazz band, as well as freelancing around London.
